The Dimensions and Metrics pages in Funnel are now organized around tabs to make it easier for you to navigate the data you have in Funnel.
With the new tabs the Dimensions and Metrics now belong to one of three different categories:
- Custom
- Imported
- Built in
Custom Dimensions and Metrics are fields that let you model your data by introducing your specific business logic into Funnel. Funnel provides some of these custom fields straight out-of-the-box but you can also create custom dimensions and metrics from scratch.
Dimensions and Metrics in the Imported category are native to the different data sources connected in your Funnel account. These are fields that you will find within the user interfaces of the platforms that are represented in your connected data sources.
In the Built in category you'll find fields that are native to the Funnel platform.
